Wax Removal £60

You will need to allow up to an hour for this appointment. Provided there are no medical conditions preventing us from performing the procedure, we will use micro suction to safely and gently remove ear wax from each ear as needed. We usually recommend that you apply olive oil with a spray for 2 weeks prior to the appointment. The cost of this appointment is £60. You must be over the age of 18 to have this performed and you must be able to understand and sign a consent form before the procedure is performed. You will be asked to wear a mask and to take relevant covid precautions during all appointments. When the wax has been removed we recommend having a free hearing test.

Quick Hearing Test

This is a short, 20 min appointment, designed for people who do not know how good or bad their hearing is. We will tell you whether or not you have excessive wax, whether or not you have a hearing loss, and discuss any recommended next steps with you. You must be over the age of 18 to have this test done. You will be asked to wear a mask and to take relevant covid precautions during all appointments. This appointment is free.

Full Hearing Assessment.

This appointment is designed for people who already know they have a hearing loss and want to explore their options for improving their hearing. You can expect to be with us for at least an hour and you must be over the age of 18 to attend. Following a thorough hearing assessment, you will be offered a demonstration of the latest hearing aid technology. Then there will be an option to purchase hearing aids and accessories from a variety of different manufacturers. You will then be offered a fitting appointment where your new hearing aids will be fitted to your prescription and you will be shown how to use them. You will be asked to wear a mask and to take relevant covid precautions during all appointments. The full hearing assessment appointment is free and there is no obligation to purchase any of our products or services. If you decide to purchase hearing aids, or any related accessories or sundries, costs will be incurred.

Aftercare

Aftercare is one of the most important aspects of our service. It is common for people to need help with correctly inserting hearing aids, cleaning them, and maintaining their optimum performance. Often people require fine tuning adjustments and help to acclimatise to a whole new world of sound. We also recommend a repeat hearing test so that hearing aids can be reprogrammed to your new prescription at least once a year. Aftercare appointments are free. Some aftercare can be conducted remotely provided you have a Wi-Fi connection. Charges may be incurred if a hearing aid or accessory requires a repair that is not covered by the warranty, or is lost.
